Artist Statement

Shadows bewilder objects; a barn cast late in the afternoon embodies more then the structure. I am working within the shadows cast by institutions of craft and fine art. My sensibility within craft seeks to create work that transcends material through process. This body of work uses line and shape to express shadows of myself that emanate a life of their own.
